About the 2017 Cameroon Customer Service Awards

The Cameroon Customer Service award is an opportunity to celebrate actors who have distinguished themselves in Customer service throughout the year. Every year, in 60 countries around the world, stakeholders come together to recognize the value of good service and to thank those who are putting in efforts.

The 2017 Edition of the Cameroon Customer Service awards was presented on the 6th of October at 7.00 pm at Hotel Vallée Des Princes Douala. The awards had two category groups, individual categories and corporate categories. Finalists in the individual category were voted within their organizations and details were provided to the awards committee. Corporate categories were open to nominations and voting by the general public and reviewed by the awards judges.

During the 2017 Customer service awards, 7 companies were awarded trophies for Customer Relationship excellence – Outstanding Achievement, Customer Experience Digital Transformation Project of the Year, Best Customer Experience mobile program of the year, Customer Engagement program of the year and Customer Satisfaction Quality System of the Year.

The Cameroon Customer Service Award is an annual award presented to top organizations and professionals who achieve customer service excellence in their category. The award event was marked by presentations from business and civil society leaders and executives. Finalists were also allowed to tell their stories as they received their trophies.

2017 Finalists – Corporate

Finalists for the corporate category were nominated and voted by the general public and their nominations were reviewed by judges and customer experience experts.

  • Daniel Muna Memorial Clinic– Customer Relationship excellence – Outstanding Achievement.
  • Ecobank Cameroon – Customer Experience Digital Transformation Project of the year.
  • Gifted Mom– Best Customer Experience mobile program of the year.
  • IYA– Customer Relationship excellence – Outstanding Achievement.
  • NFC Bank– Customer Engagement program of the year.
  • MTN Cameroon– Customer Satisfaction Quality System of the Year

2017 Finalists – Individual

Finalists for the individual category were nominated and voted by their colleagues within their companies and their details were provided to the award committee.

  • Marie Olivier Samo – 2017 Customer service professional for the year for PLF ( Pan African Leadership Foundation).
  • Eric Ndoumbe – 2017 Customer service professional for the year for CIMENCAM
  • Egbe Johnson – 2017 Customer service professional for the year for Go Ahead Africa.
  • Babicho Hannah – 2017 Customer service professional for the year for IYA
